WHY SHAMLLA:

Shamlla is a Pashtu word meaning head of the turban, and in Afghan culture, the turban itself symbolizes dignity and pride.

Shamlla is the Brand’s president and designer’s daughter’s name, set by her father. He believes that his daughter “Shamlla” is his dignity and pride, as the name itself means. The brand name also conveys the message of how respected and powerful women are.

SHAMLLA was launched in 2020 in Kabul, Afghanistan, to meet the taste of modern women who want to make their statement with outfits that ooze sophistication and personality. The whole concept of the collection revolves around the outfits, and the coordinates can be mixed and matched to create a total look. Colors and prints interact synergistically, creating refined and original contrasts. SHAMLLA has grown and evolved season after season and is now expanding.

The SHAMLLA COUTURE collection is as exquisite as it is wearable. It combines stunning couture detailing with a range of fabrics, including traditional silk chiffons, lacquered lace, and knitted chainmail, accentuated with ruching, draping, and peplums.

SHAMLLA has always been inspired by the old Afghan glamour, and the traditional and modern Asian and Western couturier techniques of corsetry and cut have long been a key part of our work. We have teamed these techniques with new and innovative fabrics to create a collection that echoes the luxury of a bygone era for the modern glamorous woman.

The range of silhouettes varies from hourglass to empire line, knee-skimming hems to dramatic fishtails, punctuated with a palette that moves from Jet to Ivory, through bright and bold hues to sugary shades.

Fabric/Fabric Check: When the fabric is received, it is laid down for 24 hours and checked conscientiously for any faulty.
Pattern: The pattern is created in the sampling phase to calculate the fabric consumption and costing sheet.
Cutting: The fabric is cut and then bundled by style, size, and color.
Design: We embrace Afghanistan’s cultural beauty and recreate it in our products to be proudly shared with the world.
Embroidery: We control land-made or machine-made embroideries on details or all over.
Assembling: Processed semi-products are gathered back to the factory for the assembling phase.
Finishing: The finished products are trimmed, checked, and packed for shipment.

3: Once the quotation is approved, your order’s first sample will be made and sent to you.

4: after the sample approval, your order will be sent to production.

5: As soon as your order is done, we will deliver it to you.
